Ashwagandha is used as an general tonic and adaptogen to strengthen the body in times of chronic illness. It is used during prolonged periods of stress or burnout, gradually enhancing energy levels, improving sleep quality and supporting immunity.
THE SCIENCE
Ashwagandha demonstrates a reduction in anxiety, improvement of sleep in those with insomnia (minimum of 8 weeks), plus immune modulating and anti-inflammatory actions. It is used in Western herbal medicine to support the Hypothalamic Pituitary Adrenal-axis in chronic stress and stress induced hormonal or sleep disturbances.
Directions Infuse 1 teaspoon of your herbal tea in freshly boiled water for 5 minutes or longer. Drink 1 to 3 cups daily.
Ingredients 100% Ashwagandha root* (Withania somnifera). *Organic.
All dried herbs are wild crafted or sourced organically when available. Non organic herbs may be used when organic herbs are unavailable.
